Why was my check deposit returned?

How long does a deposit take to clear?
The time in which funds from a check deposit are available in a COS account are impacted by a couple factors, such as:

• The deposit business date, which is the business date when COS recognizes the deposit being accepted
• The Reg CC policy assigned to the check

After your deposit request is made, COS will provide a response which will contain the deposit details as well as a breakdown of when funds from the check will be available by day in the schedule array.
